One of the most important aspects of an exercise regime is the chest workout routine. The thing is, many people think that pressups aren't worth doing because they could be spending that time in the gym lifting heavy weights. Don't fall into this mentality because push-ups will get you ripped and stronger.
If you are trying to get stronger or want to build up your mass, here is something you need to try. The 7 minutes of hell push-up challenge is one of the quickest ways to get a strong chest. What you do is: do 30 push-ups every minute for a 7 minute period. This requires you to do only 30 push-ups per minute, don't do any more, and try not to do less than 30 either. IIf you are able to get the full total of 210 push-ups done within the 7 minute time frame, then you are considered to be extremely fit.
Please don't think this replaces all of your standard chest exercises. The best way to approach it is to substitute it for one of your normal chest exercises each week. However, it is vitally important that after performing this challenge you give yourself a minimum of 7 days rest before you try doing it again. This goes for you even if you can bench your own body weight 20 times.
It might sound very easy but wait until you try it. And once you are able to do the full challenge, you can try for 35 push-ups each minute but it will probably be a while before you are able to do that. Good luck on your first attempt and don't worry if you are unable do the full 210 push-ups withing the 7 minute time frame when you first try it, because nobody can do that.
